The puppies have all found good homes.    Check back with us this summer, we may have another litter.

AKC German Shorthair Pointer pups.   Whelped 12/14/08.

Puppies are 7 weeks old now.  We had a large litter of 13.  All survived and are doing fine. 

Colors : Solid liver, white w/patches and ticking, liver w/patches and ticking.

Dews and tails docked within first week of birth. lst shots, wormed and vet checked on Jan. 26th.

Puppies are weaned and eating dry puppy food.   They began eating wet puppy food at three weeks old, due to the size of the litter.  Momma tried to keep up, but it was difficult.

Mother and Father are our pets (Sis and Spencer).  Sis is a 3 year old, it's her first litter.  She is a natural hunter (first known point at 3 months old), a gun nut and a member of our family.    Spencer is a 10 year old, we adopted him a year ago, when his owner moved and couldn't keep him.   He's a house dog and a little timid, but does hunt.

GSHP's are energetic, versatile, intelligent and excellent family members.   Once you've had a Shorty, you want any other breed of dog.
